Delivery Room

Overview
Our client is a state government delivery office tracking hundreds of commitments across ministries. Progress used to mean calling commissioners, waiting for reports, and hoping the numbers in the briefing were current.
We designed and built the Delivery Room: every project, approval and payment on one screen, updated as ministries, contractors and field officers do their work.
Ministries update their own projects and field officers report from site, so the Governor's briefing is built from the work itself.
The problem
Project data sits in each ministry's files and spreadsheets. By the time it reaches the Governor's office it is weeks old, summarised, and hard to question.
Payment approvals queue in an inbox with no clear view of what is oldest, what is largest, or what is blocking work on site.
How it works
Every project, one record. Each project carries its ministry, contractor, budget, releases, progress and site reports. Ministries update their own projects; nobody re-types a report.
Approvals with a clock. Payment and variation requests move through ministry review, finance checks and the Governor's office, each step timed, so the oldest and largest requests rise to the top.
Field evidence. Officers on site upload photos and short reports from a phone, even offline, with time and location attached.
A morning briefing. The Governor opens one screen each morning: what is on track, what is late, and what is waiting on them.
