State Command Centre

Overview
Our client is a state government responsible for every local government area and district across the state. Its performance picture used to arrive as reports, phone calls and visits, each one a few weeks old.
We designed and built the State Command Centre: a live dashboard that scores every local government every day, so the Governor can see who is ahead, who is slipping, and where to act first.
The system runs on web and mobile, so the Governor has the same picture in the office and on the move.
The problem
Each local government keeps its own records in its own way. Comparing them means waiting for reports that are prepared, summarised and softened on the way up.
Underperforming councils are found late, and good ones go unrecognised. Instructions go out, and nobody can see which chairmen have acted on them.
How it works
One score for every council. Revenue against target, projects on track, complaints cleared and staff attendance combine into a single score per local government, shown on a map the Governor can read in seconds.
Drill down to the district. Select any local government to see its districts, live projects and revenue, down to the individual project and the photo from site.
A public, fair scorecard. Chairmen are ranked on the same measures, updated daily. Strong performers are easy to recognise, and weak ones are easy to support early.
Directives that are tracked. When the Governor issues a directive, such as a revenue drive or a clean-up campaign, every council acknowledges it, reports progress, and closes it. Nothing disappears into a drawer.
A morning briefing on a phone. The Governor opens one screen and sees which chairmen to call today.
Built with
Web dashboard, mobile briefing for the Governor, councils and districts feeding data from their own desks, role-based access, full audit trail.
